Hi, as the title says this years Rally has been cancelled. I usually take my son 30 yrs old away for this event so can anyone recommend an alternative? The date I'm looking at from Friday 27th 28th & 29th. NOV

Mmmm not been the RAC for years !!! Remember the days when it was a REAL rally and not just a blast through Wales. It is this weekend! Cancelled?

It is the RAC that's been cancelled Clansman not the WRC GB Wales thingy.

They haven't called it the RAC for about 30 years.

 

I suspect there are safety problems, as you're not allowed within 50 metres of a rally, and there's always somebody who drifts into these events with a death wish.  Its a bit like level crossings

Thats a shame, it ran into problems up here when the council agreed they couldn't use the park they hold a stage at because of repair costs. I personally thought it was a cop out from our corrupt local council, but this is even more of a blow.

Back to the original question, 'can anyone recommend an alternative?' Of course, you can pop the roof on and come out to play with us in your Westie. There will be a Peak District run out and I can make it go to Glossop/Buxton area.  

 

You can set BioBoy on demisting the windows.

 

Just a thought.

The RAC (Roger Albert Clark) Rally was cancelled last Wednesday due to lack of entries.

This has nothing to do with the WRC Rally GB.

But the lack of entries was because they were not allowed to use some stages again because apparently spectators left so much rubbish behind last year.
