Man On The Clapham Omnibus
Abingdon? Did you go? The weather looked a bit too iffy to risk the cash I thought. Anyway, by the time I'd finished humming and ha-ing it was full up.

tisme
I changed to monthly DD this year and SORN'd it at the end of September (Sept 30, the day after my engine blew up !!) - the DD was actually taken by the DVLA on the 1st of October as it was probably already "in the system" but they refunded it automatically 10 days later. So the system appears to work ok and of course it's all on-line now.. As far as i know you could tax it for one month, SORN the next, tax it the next and so on - though no doubt the DVLA would probably ask why !! (I would love to try it though )
Dave Stirrup
Just SORN'd mine for the engine rebuild. With the DD you can turn it on and off to the nearest month. It's a no brainier for me. System works really well. £22 a month better off in my pocket.
