Meet at The Strines Inn, Mortimer Road, Sheffield, S6 6JE, around 10.30-11.00. We will wiggle around the Peak District in the Castleton area and head for The Packhorse Inn at New Mills for lunch.

An alternative start point is at Mottram 9am, at the end of the M67. Bioman is meeting a couple of Tigers there and going up Holme Moss before meeting us at The Strines.

We are in Blackpool this weekend so no hot wiring, flying wiper blade or indicators that don't. I suggest you will have a fairly boring day out then!!!!

Nobody broke down, that means we didn't have Sue and Martyn the Manic Mechanic with us then  :p. Well done to Bioman for organising a great day.We have met some new people, starting with Alan in his yellow 2litre Zetec Westfield called Paddy, Clive/Sue and Trevor in the Tigers, Dave in the Robin Hood with it's 3L Jaguar engine, Diggsy in his carbon fibre wrapped Westfield, mmm. Also Tricky, Barry/Andrew, Mr and Mrs Bioman and MattyCatty.

All arrived at The Strines

2nd gear round the left hander then it's up the hill. My foot flat to the floor with MattyCatty getting bigger and bigger in my rear view mirror, I know I will never pull away from a supercharged S2000, but it is bags of fun trying. I love it.

Another steep hill on the way to Hayfield and Bioman was off, oh it's fun, top speed kept down I might add, keeps the licence clean and the roads safe.

We arrived at The Packhorse for lunch al fresco in the warm sunshine

We were joined by Paul and Pat, who had just bought this Westfield today. Paul has a Tiger, and now Pat has her Westfield, good choice

Thanks to Bioman for making today happen and to everyone for coming it's been a laugh.
