Bike carbbed Zetec fuel pump question?

Hi All

Installing a Zetec on zx9r carbs. Where do I mount the bike fuel pump ?

Is it ok to replace the old facet pump under the fuel tank and push the fuel to engine or does it mount in engine bay where it sucks from the tank if you know what I mean?

Hi I've just sold my zx9r bike carbed mk1 escort and the pump was mounted by the tank and pushed to the engine, if that makes sense.

Below the tank outlet if poss so it doesnt have to draw the fuel
