stephenh
I'm fairly sure the Westfield (circuit racing) championship folded several years ago. It was a BARC championship so far as I know, and was dropped by the BARC because of dwindling entries. I've heard of Magnificent 7's, but know nothing about them. Cameron Forbes, who sadly died early this year, raced a Westfield, I think mainly at Oulton Park and Mallory Park possibly. I have an idea that might have been part of the Magnificent 7s series. iowlee
http://www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk/sites/default/files/2015%20Magnificent%20Sevens%20Group%202%20Regulations.pdf here is a link to the regs for Mag 7's group 2 clases http://www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk/?q=Magnificent%20Sevens Here is link to the main page on cscc re sevens. You can also run seven style cars in the open races and I believe they normally do well. I just like the friendliness and the mix of cars with no tight ruling on mods, this appeals to me as my car is also a road car and I want to still be able to use it in other forms of motor sport. Good Racing! Hope this helps Glutey
RichUK
We've been racing in Mag 7s this year, we've struggled with a blown engine at the start of the year a few other niggles thereafter. CSCC are a very welcoming series, we've loved the races we've done. The highlight being making up 20 places in the Open race at Donington. Aside from Mag 7s, CSCC sometimes run an open race where they have space on their calendar. So you get two signatures on your licence that weekend. We find the 40 min race format works well, some races I've done on my own some I have shared with a good friend. Well worth it, happy to chat if you have any questions.
