Sounds interesting, and I found a vit more info on their FB page (below). Sadly it clashes with the JD classics breakfast morning so I'll be heading to Maldon.

IT'S NEARLY HERE!!!!!

The 4th Whizz-Kidz Cars and Coffee at Porsche Centre Colchester with The Aussie BBQ Company and Bootylicious Coffee. Sunday 27th 9am till lunchtime.

With a forecast of 20 degrees and no chance of rain, why would you not be there?

Normal rules apply.

* Any brand, Supercar, sportscar or just something different. (Unfortunately we cannot accommodate owners clubs as we want to keep this mix of cars diverse)

*Please drive carefully to and from the venue.

*£5 donation to Whizz-Kidz per car

*Please do not arrive before 9am as the gates will not be open.

* Don't forget the event is at our Aftersales facility (3 Wyncolls Road, Colchester, CO4 9HU) and not the showroom. Please see map below.

* Enjoy!!!

Assuming it's sunny, I'm going to take the Westy to Maldon. Looks like JD Classics are behind Morissons?

Mark, I'm guessing you've been before, if so where do you head for to park?

Parking is on the roads surrounding it or in wickes and walk up.

As above, parking is either on the road in the industrial estate or for "interesting" vehicles you may be allowed to park on their site.

At some popular well attended events westfield's aren't always considered interesting enough for privaledged parking. But I normally get in the yard at the far end of the site which is to the left of the big display window. For the parking by the bottom showroom you'll need to be driving something worth £1/4 million!!! But it's always worth trying your luck.

If the road is full then JD's staff may also point you in the direction of a car park for an adjacent unit as they have an agreement with some of their neigbours, but don't park at the neigbours unless you're told too. Wickes is open on a Sunday so best not to park there and they also don't appreciate having the rear access to their yard blocked.

Morrisons have always been amenable to parking there and JD's normally offer their staff tickets to the invitation only days as a sweetner and thank you for allow the parking.

Arrive early, as if you've not been before it'll take you a while to get round all 7 buildings.

Sounds good. Might spend some time perusing the car park, if there are £250k cars there! I will wear my Westfield baseball cap, on the off chance you spot me (more appropriate that a red carnation and a copy of The Times). Kev.

My nephew went a couple of weeks ago and happened to ask Derek what the cheapest car he had for sale was. That question threw him for a bit but after a little research revealed it was probably an e-type!

I'm intending on getting there first thing, as I've got to be back home by midday to do some..............can't say it...............decorating!

I'm going to set off from Margaretting at 8.00am, but happy to meet up with any other early risers in Sandon/Danbury.
