Cameras to use when at T junctions / parking bays.

In my tintop, just behind the front bumper there is a colour camera at either side of the car and these cameras point up the street.

When I press a switch, my information screen splits into two and provides a view up both sides of the street at the same.

Does anyone know of a system that could be retro-fitted into the nose cone of a Westfield.

The cameras are only about 10mm in diameter and are really unobtrusive and they mount flush with the bodywork.

I would find it really handy as a few places I park on a regular basis I have to inch my way out of the parking bays as I am unable to see left or right and I am not always in a position to drive straight into the bay and reverse out.

It would need to be waterproof and this means the screen and connections and the screen would need to be easily  removable and also a discreet nature so it does not clutter the dashboard.

I have found this site but the monitors look so big.

I use this camera and screen as a rear-view/ reversing setup:

here's the sensor I bought:

and here's the display:

you could fit a sensor each side and then use a double pole 3 position ON/OFF/ON switch to select which side gets power...

EDIT: just checked, and that monitor doesn't have image reversal, so might do your head in if you weren't expecting it....

EDIT2: you need  a non-mirror camera like this:

Hello Mike.

Thanks for the great information.

I will have a browse through the links this evening.

I'm sure a reversing camera could be easily modified by a competent installer.
