Battle of Britain flypast

Martyn Vann - Warwickshire AO

Recommended Posts

Weather and traffic was lousy on the way down but now sunny on the south coast. Waiting for the delayed start, due to go at 2pm. We are on east beach, Selsey, hoping to see most of the aircraft as they separate into their different flight paths over the south of the country.

I'm not sure how many aircraft actually left Goodwood but we counted at least 27 past us at Selsey. Mostly Spits but a few Hurricanes and the lone Blenheim! The first group of 7 spitfires and 1 hurricane was glorious!!!!
