Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted September 10, 2015 Share Posted September 10, 2015 After you click on the icon and select the compose new message option, you'll need to enter the recipients user name as it appears on screen the name should pretty much auto complete once you get far enough through entering it - a great double check that you've got the name right! Note, you can add several names to send to more than one recipient at once. When you receive mail, you will see a little red circle appear next to the envelope icon, with a number in it, click on the icon, and any pm threads with unread messages will show in bold. Note, when a PM first pops in, a preview will usually pop up on screen too. Alternatively, if you click on any members avatar picture under their username at the left of their posts, as well as the other information about that member, that appears, you'll see a little envelope icon with send a message next to it. (or words to that effect). Click on that icon to start a PM to that member. You'll also find one or two other ways to start PM's in the Boardroom, but those two should get you started!
