Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative
Does anyone know this area? and can you advise me of the quickest way to get to Congleton from Llangollen please? Am I best to go to the top end of Wrexham and follow the A534 past Nantwich, Crewe and Sandbach to Congleton? Or am I best to take the A525 past Whitchurch and head up the M6. I will be travelling on Friday afternoon. Thanks Julie
CraigHew
I've never done that particular journey, but live in Whitchurch. I'd avoid the M6 on a Friday afternoon. If it were me I'd go: Llangollen, Whitchurch, Crewe, Sandbach, Congleton.
stephenh
I'd be using the A525 (nice road) bypassing Whitchurch, and the A500. Not sure that I'd want to use the M6, you'd be going up Keele Bank which is notorious for delays, particularly on a Friday.
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
I would aim for coming across the Crewe, Sandbach way. There isn't a perfect route at that time on a Friday, but avoid the M6 or parallel routes like the plague.
