Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Not a FB thing particularly, but the one that really winds me up, and I haven't a clue why, is when someone, in a question, uses the word "we", when they really mean is "you", as in: "Where are we going?", "What are we doing?" etc. makes me want to scream (like a teenager), "we aren't going anywhere, but I'm going..." Oh and in a similar way to Clark's "lovely", inappropriate use of the word "nice", again, in a question. As in, "would you like a nice sandwich?" or "would you like a nice glass of wine?". Again, i just have that urge to scream like Harry Enfield's Kevin, "no I want a horrible sandwich" or whatever. I bite my tongue a lot.
John K
I have avoided the entire "should I be on FaceBook" dilema by being obnoxious and boring and having no friends. And my family think I'm dead...
jeff oakley
ever look on my wifes FB page. What really annoys me is how many educated people forward stupid "share if you like" or messages about how bad the NHS, Government etc is, without any facts at all. Mindless sheep repeating inaccurate rubbish. The other thing is how some rule their lives by it. A picture when they get up, picture for breakfast which they want you to like. TAFKARM
I've been facebook free for the best part of 3 years. What perplexes me is how keen people are to give up their personal data...

corsechris
Whole bl**** thing perplexes me TBH. In an abstract way, I can understand why some folk with family would want to use it to keep in touch to some extent, but the endless sharing of utter (expletive deleted) trivia with the entire world baffles me. I've said it before, I'm not interested in my own life - why on earth would someone else be?? By extension, that applies to almost everyone else in the world as far as I am concerned, although I do accept that there are some lucky folk who are actually interesting to follow if you are in to that sort of thing. I too don't get the desire to share personal information quite so readily. No wonder folk get scammed so often.
Nic Chase (NICO) - Shropshire & Mid-Wales AO
FaceBook. Managed to avoid, so far. What annoys me is the way the BBC goes to great lengths to avoid all sorts of advertising and makes a huge fuss if they happen to mention a commercial product. Then, on a dally basis, they constantly plug FaceBook and Twitter!! How does that work??

GuitarmanUK
I use FB to keep in contact with my son who is travelling in the far east. I can see his pictures and know he is OK. Other than that I 'un-follow' all the people who post rubbish just leaving me things that I might be interested in looking at (car related, music related etc).

Lyonspride
People who think they're so important that the entire world needs to see everything they do, they have totally public profiles, including personal info, photo's and status updates. They usually have 600-1500 "friends" and proudly show this information for all to see, most of these "friends" they have never met and then they complain about privacy when they get fired from work for comments they posted on Facebook. Women who go on and on constantly about their kids, "I love you blah blah blah", the kid is 3 months old F.F.S, it can't even read!!!!! Blatant attention seeking.
