A bit more history about BR.

The family business was a chain of grocers/butchers all over the North West.

Back in the 60s they had their own Shopfitting dept in an old church on Eccles New Rd in Salford, i worked there for a while.

Of course I never met Brian at work, he was always away testing and racing, a sort of family playboy....lol

I've seen him race many times.

What a different era to now. A couple of tyres blow out and F1 drivers want it to stop. Guy's like him took risk as part of the job and his recollection is so matter of fact of his injuries and accidents.

If it wasn't for the nutters on bikes I would say they will never be seen again.

Aye I remember a Redmans the grocer  in St Helens when i was nought but a lad , never thought about a connection with BR though  :t-up:
