Rab (bombero) Reid
Like the car itself, I'd say it's very much a personal choice on what you do with it or colour you buy/paint it! On saying that, taboo are modern metallics, but bright is usually best .. or at least, most preferred. Mine is chrome yellow and it stands out and I really like but however, I've currently suffering from a common case of upgrade(for no apprent reason)itis .. thinking of painting it baby blue a la Gulf blue! Onliest Smeg David
Whilst I love the Chrome Yellow look there is one big downside. It attracts the flies etc still remember queing up at Curborough fighting the little b*******s off Sure does!!
Matta
I've had a blue one (painted, VW summer blue), chrome yellow gelcoat and the current one is red gelcoat. To be honest, colour was at the bottom of my list, as I bought on spec every time! However, I've always fancied one in BRG, mainly because it's not yellow or red! Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO
Orange. A Westfield needs a bold statement colour, so something to make it stand out. I saw a yellow Aston Martin coming home from work today, not sure if that works or not.
Kingster
I saw a yellow Aston Martin coming home from work today, not sure if that works or not. Wrong, just wrong...

daggartuk
You mustn't listen to any of the advice given so far as navy blue is the colour to go for - it has the deepest shine and turns you into a sex symbol! Honest!
Nick Algar - Competition Secretary
Mrs A tells me that recent research says red cars get crapped on most by our feathered friends. Personally a nice Blue for me next time.
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
I've seen a similar article about red cars!
s2rrr
I suspect a little bias on that one Dave, not quite sure why of course. I'm sticking with the majority so far as Red for obvious reasons as well. Bit of a marmite question really. Bob
Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup)
I think it is whatever each person thinks is the right colour then that's the right one. If we all thought blue was the best colour and the best for re-sale then just think how boring it would be if we all had blue cars.
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
I don't want anyone picking blue, it's why I haven't recommended it! I like not seeing many around. Nor have I actually recommended a colour, cause it's such a personal choice and there is no right or wrong. The article did the rounds a little while ago! Here's a copy, if it cheers you up Bob, I think blue came second

Olliebeak
Red is the colour of my car and my favourite with blue a close second. There is a 'flash colour changer' on the Westfield-World.com website, you can play around with different colours on various parts of the car, useful starting guide. Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
incidentally, on the bright colours/other road users thing, I'm not so sure. (Having had a very bright yellow/black combination in the past). I've seen quite a few road safety articles now which seem to sort of imply that in our case, it doesn't make that much of a difference. We as Westfield owners having a similar issue to motorcyclists, because our cars don't look all that car shaped to other road users, the brain of anyone not properly alert, simply tends to ignore it, (regardless of colour) as the brain is subconsciously looking for other cars, and doesn't recognise us as a typical car shape. One thing I would say though, if like me, you use the car a lot on the road, and for mundane stuff that involves parking it in car parks and in road side bays; having bright extremities, nose cone, wheel arches etc, does help the other motorists see them when they're manoeuvring in adjacent spots.
