The more I look about the more I see that theres good ones out there. Think I will give this a swerve.

Very wise I think :)

He had my old cat C Westy. I owned it from IVA, It was then flood damaged and got written off.

Was asking as I was curious if it was my old one...

Unfortunately not. That would be a good buy if he still has it. Yellow J86 XDP

This is the only one he has, once of his lads told me about a v8 beast they had, but I've my eyes on a straight one now. Thanks for all the advise on this one.

There's a lot on internet chatter about him. A lot.

Apart from the owner on here, there was also one on Blatchat whose written off car he was advertising. The owner was pretty p*****d off at how much was being hidden with regards to the degree of damage. The advert was reworded ever so slightly after the cars original owner contacted him, the ad was still highly misleading though.

The guy is one of the big reasons why everyone considering a specialist marque, be it Westfield, TVR, Caterham whatever, should get themselves along and join the marque's owners club.

You do wonder how in such small world's as the ownership of these brands that he can do and say what he does; everyone talks, the stories are out there. But the business model relies on new buyers not being members of the owners clubs, not having the background information and not speaking to previous owners.

Andy popped over today and I think he agrees with us all to avoid the cat c car.

I did say that the only way I would consider it would be to use as a finishing kit for a new build and fresh IVA. Even then it would be a dubious purchase.

Joining this club has been a wise move I would say!

Yep, £30 well spent without doubt.

Buying a Westfield is a matter of patience.  The right one will show up, they're not thin on the ground, you just need to take your time and be choosy. :)

Scott, that is pretty much word for word some of what I said to Andy earlier today :)

Thanks for today Chris, it was a worth while trip over to you.

I now know that I just fit, which is good enough for me, you've given me much food for thought and also the little run out ticked the final box.

Hope you had a good run this afternoon.

Your build quality was superb, hopefully I can buy something that's had as much quality put into it.
