Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative
First it was a Sunday lunch platter for two, with beef and chicken and stuffing, as we sat overlooking the lake with Andrew and Clare. Then we took the short journey to Doddington Hall, grabbed a coffee and went for a nosey round the cars. A better mix of cars than last time, but I am still not sure about the longevity of this event. After a short while my tyres started to twitch and Andrew had mentioned there was an interesting tank nearby and that they could show us the cathedral. So off we went. The joy of following a V8, it growls at me, I like it. We left the Hall Went round the bend And to the tank. The first tank for WW1 was made in Lincoln. Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative
We passed right underneath the Cathedral Glen got all artistic and took a lovely picture with a reflection in my bonnet. He had planned it that way,,,I don't think Andrew and Clare went one way and we went the other, so thank you for the tour and making the day more fun and interesting. You guys probably got home dry, but we put the roof on after the toll bridge and it was a good job we did. Other cars at the show
AndrewBClarke
It was perfect timing for us. Got home, put the kettle on and before it had boiled it was raining outside.Sorry it didn't work out so well for you. Glenn will have to clean your car again! Thanks for the company and lunch. It all made what was an average car show into an enjoyable afternoon. Andrew
