Triggers broom (or lack off)

The phase 'triggers broom' was used on a thread recently and got me thinking.

Who has a westfield that isnt a triggers broom?

So many Westfields are rebodied, re-engined, suspension replaced but what about the unaltered ones.

I bet they are mostly factory as we who build them are never happy and have pre/post IVA plans.

So....Whos got the longest serving un-modified car?

My green one is exactly as it left the Mickmade workshop, with the exception of the engine mounts and a battery.

The sprint car not so much, although it does have the original chassis, bodywork and engine block/head.

Great idea.

Is there a prize?

Can't be many as originally built so be good to see them. Mines not one.

I wish I could have two Westfields also.

I would have another red one...no, blue.............hang on, green.....oh I just want them all.

There was a guy on here the other day with a zei that looked original. If so that would have to be about fifteen years old.

There's lots of Westfields out there that are fairly original. (As in no upgrades as such, just the odd worn out part replaced with something a bit newer), but as their owners are split between those that don't post on the Boardroom at all and those that do, but never really mention their cars much, it gives a slightly deceiving picture

Built in 1998 and pre-dates the SVA by a fraction of a second!

The blue one is a 1989 narrow SEi and was originally supposed to have a crossflow. Which reminds me, the loom is OEM too!
