It was in a terrible state with the holes and damage the spare had done. I'm a pen pusher and using fibreglass and filler was a whole new experience and I spent hours filling and sanding to try and achieve a decent finish! I was quoted £3k+ for a restoration of the GRP and paint, with no guarantee that the cracks would come through the first time I hit a bump!
