A chum of mine who owns a Bullnose Morris and a Rolls Royce 20hp (therefore skilled in the art, I assume) said something about a pedal for reverse gear... Bernie, it was tight under the doorway and it was overall height that meant his daughter's garage was impractical. It's by no means the first 'T' in there though as a previous owner of my house owned a Model T dealership in West Wycombe some years ago. I must say though, that I regard cars like these as I look on thatched cottages. They look wonderful and I'm glad people preserve them, but I'd rather look at them across the road from my much more modern house! The aforementioned RR/Bullnose owner has a thatched cottage converted from an old forge. Maintenance of an old car/house is difficult and performance stuck in time gone by. I had the pleasure recently of being chauffeured to the pub for lunch in his Rolls and it's terrifying! No front brakes at all (like the Model T) and minimal rears acting on tyres like razorblades.
