BudSlater
Not sure of the official name, but it's the panel that goes above all the gauges in the following picture and spans from the far left to the far right. it's got a couple of holes for the tonneau cover in it, but it's in great condition. Anyone know what they are called so I can try to find out what it's worth so what to advertise it at?
lewis
I think it's called the crash pad if you search the Westfield parts website. Edit: It is, here it is http://parts-shop.westfield-sportscars.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=599 Edited July 30, 2015 by lewis
BudSlater
Thanks. So it's 112 new from westfield, so £50?

BudSlater
Sorry, not an expert at these bodie styles. However, I do know that if I tape a tape measure and go horizontally, touching the steering column from one edge of the scuttle to the other, it's 40" on this crash pad
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
If it's the one in the photo, it will fit any type of Westfield that uses the later ZK bodywork. Not sure how much of a difference wide vs narrow bodywork would make on that part though. If however you have the earlier Type known as Kit bodywork, then it's about 19mm too wide at the top and a different profile at the ends. It also lacks the moulded in recess to accommodate the moulded rolled edge that the kit scuttle features where it wraps round the dash.
BudSlater
If it helps, the ends are as such (photo of actual item) https://www.dropbox.com/s/8ij92y5kdjlsnpg/2015-07-30%2018.43.49.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/x8xwdsqd9xr9s8r/2015-07-30%2017.46.45.jpg?dl=
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
That's a Kit type bodywork crash pad, in which case it's narrower than the ZK version, it also slopes outwards at the ends a little more.
