Sparkymart Posted July 29, 2015 Author Share Posted July 29, 2015 Whats to stop a dodgy saw blade shattering under braking force with shrapnel flying everywhere i did think the same thing but the blade drops down under the table which could help if the blade did shatter and shouldn't there be a guard covering the blade which lifts a the wood is pushed into the blade . as it works on resistance what would happen if the wood was damp could start getting expensive... I'm naturally sceptical, but sincerely hoping it's a practical proposition because saws are lethal, obviously. Is there any data on exactly how it works?
