Mark (smokey mow)
Haha, maybe!TTRS engine with 500bhp in the Yeti...The build of the Yeti was much more than just an engine transplant. The car was put together just up the road from me by John Danby Racing. They started out with a 2010 TT-RS and a 2005 Yeti into which much of the driveline and full wiring loom from the TT was transplanted. There's a few pictures of the build on their FB page https://www.facebook.com/groups/20778823574/photos/

John K
To be honest if cash was no object, I would do something similar. 500 bhp 4x4 06 Ford Mundane..? I have to respect that guy...
750mc
I was at that trackday and can confirm that yeti goes like the proverbial. Not my bag but credit to the owner for making a brilliant q car!
jeff oakley
I love that car, it is the ultimate modern Q car. Unassuming to look at but clearly ferociously fast. You can just imagine some of those at Rockingham laughing as he went out only to be overtaken so easily. It is perfect for what it does
dombanks
How much do you recon it cost to do? Not small change for sure both the tt and yetti looked like they were in ok condition

John K
The VAG group is perfectly setup for these sorts of shananigans. With the MQB platform sharing a Skoda Fabia is basically an A3. Tweaked RS3 / Fabia combo anybody? Can we get RS6 drivetrain into a Skoda Superb? I love Q cars, walk quietly but carry a big stick... dhutch
Tweaked RS3 / Fabia combo anybody? I love Q cars, walk quietly but carry a big stick... Well up for that, I think the rear window on the early fabia have leaking issues, but that aside I have spent a while looking for used sleepers/q-cars on ebay! I have a tatty N-reg 316 E36 Compact. Larger motors are I am told a near direct swap, just need the time to do it!.... Daniel
SootySport
Fabia is the same platform as a Polo and Ibiza, A1and the A3 and Leon common to a Golf and Octavia.
pistonbroke
I hate Golf but enjoy owning an Octavia
