Sunday 26th July Ashover Car Show, Peak District

Meet on Sunday 26th July at 9.45am MacDonalds, Alma Leisure Park, Derby Road, Chesterfield, S40 3EQ.

Entry is £5 per car to show. If the missus and kids are coming it is £5 per person over 12 years old. There is family entertainment, auto jumble, art/craft stalls and camping facilities too. Pay on entry.

It is 7 miles from there to the car show at Ashover. Tricky and us went last year and you can leave at anytime, no pre-booking required, so just turn up, everyone is welcome.

I will be holding my monthly meet there too, as in, I have an important change to discuss with other members. The venue of my monthly meets is altering and I need to discuss the alternatives that I have in mind.

If it is tipping it down with rain on the Sunday and there is interest I can do a run out on the Saturday instead, so keep posted.

Cheers

Julie

We are planning to join you as we were last week. However, I hate to say this but the weather is not looking too good

This could be fun but the weather forecast for Sunday is not good, Saturday looks great.

I can do Saturday as well if that's the consensus. :marto:

I might be able to come along too, if it's Saturday. Sunday isn't out of the question either, but would be trickier.

You lot are getting spoilt this weekend. Meet on Saturday at The Wheatsheaf, Baslow, 10.30 am and we will have a run out and grab some lunch at The Roaches.

Sunday is still on because it's not going to rain until later.........and it better not be until much later.

Whats the score for Sunday?

The forecast isn't great from mid morning on-wards. I'm wondering if you're still going ahead, about just having a run out to Chesterfield, dropping the banner off and then having a run back home again, before it gets too bad.

Yes as you like. Do you still want to meet at McD's 9.45 am or otherwise? I am flexible.

Yeah, probably as easy to catch you at McD's as anywhere! If I leave at half eight, I should be there around 9.45 give or take ten minutes. It's not a bad run from mine, so if I can get a nice run there with the roof off, it's no great shakes doing the home leg with the roof up!  :d
