Beez Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Hi All Have fitted a new engine in the Megabusa, after the last one expired. It has a power comander fitted which was set up on the rolling road with the old engine by the previous owner. Do you think it's worth having it back on a rolling road now there is a new engine? The engine is the same as the old one except for having a dry sump set up this time. Also if it is worth doing can anyone recommend a RR in Essex, if they MOTs as well that'll be a bonus. Cheers Paul Quote
Pistol Pete Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 The two steve's at track n road in rainham are good, a quick call should confirm if they do bec. As a bonus they also do evening session which can be handy - but dont be suprised if thay insist you go for a test drive when they have finished despite it being 1am!! Quote
AdamR Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Could be worth a quick check over - my car (XE, rather than 'Busa) made a little extra power with a dry sump due to less windage losses, so did need a small tweak to the fuelling. Quote
Beez Posted July 7, 2015 Author Posted July 7, 2015 Cheers Pete, I'll give them a call tomorrow, nice and near too. Will be interesting to see what its making compared to the original engine. Quote
Pistol Pete Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 They can be a little grumpy but you get used to it and will do a proper job on your car. Quote
