Shaggydoo Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Yes i got my letter through the post the other day informing me to destroy my counterpart. Question is which one? I seem to have ended up with quite a collection in varying states of 'cleanliness' lol 1 Quote

cast iron Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 and if youve managed to hang onto the green licence its still valid, no change Quote
Ray The Brake Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I am going to hang on to my paper counterpart,"WHY I HEAR YOU SAY" If you have to apply for a new photocard, when it appears just make sure it has all your entitlements on it. Check to make sure all your speeding entries have been removed . Assuming your paper counter is correct this is your only proof of past records Quote
pistonbroke Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Only in England ! Just got back from Holland , when we hired a car we produced the special UK gov number that took an age to download and were told by the UK hire firm not to try and collect the car from the airport without it because they would refuse . The Dutch guy looked at the document shook his head and said , what the devil is that all about ( or words to that effect ) the only document he wanted to see was the plastic part of the licence and passport Quote
