Kingster Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I now have a lovely new Momo Team steering wheel installed and so the standard Westfield one I used for IVA is now available free to club members or for a donation to the Air Ambulance for non-members. The wheel was donated to me by Dombanks and he has approved the above - thanks Dom (I never did buy you that pint!) Here it is pre-IVA I'll post a better pic if anyone requests one - but one point to note is that the boss is to suit a Sierra steering column, so might not be many takers on here. If it doesn't move in a week or so, I'll post it on the Locost site as there's plenty of Sierra donor builds on there.
ShaunD Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Hi There Kingster 996, I believe I am in the same predicament you were... I also need an IVA compliant wheel which I would be happy to recycle again to WSCC members once I am finished with it and replace with a Momo or similar. Before I ask if you still have this one, I am building a Mazda SDV with MX5 steering columne so the spline I have is 36 teeth and 15.5mm or 5/8" OD. I suspect your Sierra one wont be helpful but perhaps you could let me know all the same. Thanks in advance for any help... ShaunD.
Kingster Posted September 6, 2015 Author Posted September 6, 2015 It's gone to another member I'm afraid, on the understanding that it gets passed on when the time comes.
Dave. Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Hello ShaunD I will be more than happy to forward you the steering wheel as I have another and its was just the boss that I needed after all please send me a message with your details and I will just need the postage cost covering thanks Dave.
Kingster Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 Nice one Dave, the club tradition lives on!
ShaunD Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Hi Dave, Yee Gads, I missed your reply as was working in Houston for the week. I managed to buy a wheel inc boss and crashpad for £40 including postage so I am all sorted. Just a note to say thanks for the kind offer anyway. After a complete set of gauges now - you don't happen to know of any do you? Cheers Shaun.
Dave. Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Hello Shaun, the steering wheel is still available if anyone needs one,I see a complete dash with clocks is forsale in the foresale section may be of some use to you.
