Chris Hooper
I'm building the front suspension I can't find in the book when to fit the front coil overs so I'm dong it now. The passenger side bolt will go through from the front but there is not enough clearance on the drivers side so I've fed the bolt in from the back I hope that's okay I suppose it will have to be as I can't see another way of doing it. Also AAMOI the WF supplied nut for the top bal joint is the correct size but the wrong pitch so I've emailed them for advice.
Mooch
Mine both go in from the back, nut at the front. Not a problem, Chris. I don't recall a problem with the top ball joint nut but I'm sure WF will provide the right one if you ask them.
Chris Hooper
I emailed WF and they said they would post out the correct nuts this evening. So far I can't fault WF.
Chris Hooper
Received the replacement nuts this morning. I still think there wrong. https://flic.kr/p/srWGPo You can see how they are cutting the thread on the ball joint. They will only turn a couple of times and I don't want to damage the ball joint. What do you lot think ? Thanks
Andy (Sycho)
They shouldn't be tight mine just spun up & down, I would give them a call they are open today.
Dommo
Checking my build thread I also had the same problem with the nuts being the wrong thread.
