DannyScarbro Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 I have for sale a Westfield SeiW chassis, full set of Westfield Sei widebody bodywork, and full set of Widetrack wishbones. The chassis is an ex race car with quite a successful history, it has had front end repairs and was repaired by the owner, raced and then sold to me, the welding was not a very good standard and because of this they're are joins that are cracking and splitting. IT WILL NEED RE-WELDING before use. The Widetrack arms are all in good condition and always used copper grease, they do however have a bow as seen in the pictures, I believe this is quite common on cars that are tracked and driven hard. The bodywork is In the standard maroon colour which is a really nice retro look. The bodywork is from a race car so they are not in a great condition however don't have any big cracks or holes. Mostly light scratches and marks, one arch has been repaired on the lip. Included; Nosecone Bonnet Rear tub/arches/sides Scuttle Boot box (The boot box and panels are modified to fit a full caged cage and side panels have been modified to allow for heat distribution.) This is such a cheap way of getting a westfield built, chassis has engine mounts for the sigma ford engine. Priced to sell quickly £600 No negotiations, this is far too cheap. Collection only from PE22 7QA Pictures to follow. Many thanks Dan
DannyScarbro Posted May 8, 2015 Author Posted May 8, 2015 Just to clarify this is the standard chassis, not the lightweight race chassis. Any questions feel free to call me on 07867384175. Many thanks Dan

msisleman Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Hi, I assume the chassis has v5 and a vin (since its had a number plate at some point by the look of the photos). Might know a few interested people...
John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Looks like Mark Leybourne's (cast iron) old car?
CosKev Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Holy **** why do people try and weld important structural parts of a car when they obviously have not got a clue about welding or how to weld? That is a scary attempt at a important repair.
