shrops-paul
Can these replace the standard westfield ones? They seem to be built into the screen pillars. I guess I would need new pillars
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Can these replace the standard westfield ones? They seem to be built into the screen pillars. I guess I would need new pillars Current screen mounted mirrors do indeed fit into bosses cast into the uprights. I think at least one club member has made some round blanking caps up that fit in the end of the bosses, and has then mounted alternative mirrors to those. Otherwise, early style screen uprights didn't have the Rover mirror boss, and had small flat sections for Escort rear view mirrors. These do come up second hand occasionally, and are very popular amongst those with cages and windscreens, for obvious reasons!
