Steven Thorne Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Hi All, I hope those that went to Stoneleigh had a good time and didn't spend too much! Steve Thorne, Tim, Simon and Markie Turtle braved the rain on Sunday. This Sunday, 10th May, is the monthly meet and we will be going to join the Jaguar clubs annual event at Hambleden, Oxon RG9 6RP. In the field behind the Stag & Huntsman pub. Entry from 11.00am till mid afternoon, bring a picnic or eat in the pub. A wonderful day to meet up and see an eclectic mix of cars from all eras. I will be leaving the Bird in Hand at 10:30am should anyone want to go in convoy. Let me know if you will be going. And finally, the copy date for the next issue of Westfield World is Friday 15th May, it would be great to hear what you have been up to so I can include it in the Thames Valley entry. Please send me any updates and photos and I will compile. Quote
simon besant Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Yep I will be going but will meet you guys there Quote
Lawrie Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 If I get up, and have the energy and flexibility to change the wheels, I'll be there, but I'm a bit stiff, as in the last couple of days I've replaced both rear brake cylinders, bled and replaced the brake fluid, adjusted the ride height, reset the corner weights, increased negative camber and adjusted the toe-in. It needs a run, but I need to stand up Quote
Lawrie Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Well, I made it about an hour late. An odd setup of interesting cars, led by the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club on a village cricket pitch Quote
