Tim Reid Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Blue LED bulbs which can be used to transform you dials. You need 7 do to the below but I'm selling 10. All are brand new and all have been tested but I decided to go for red to match the colour of my car. £10 at Stoneleigh
wackydo Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Wow the blue looks great, what does the red look like have you got photos of that? I would be interested, but unfortunately am not at Stoneleigh. Tony
chriss1455 Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Is that £10 for the set or each? It's Too early my brain can't decide
Tim Reid Posted April 23, 2015 Author Posted April 23, 2015 I can post at cost. £10 is for all 10 bulbs. Sorry I don't yet have any pictures of red. It's not as stunning but blue and red doesn't really go together (so my wife told me).
Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup) Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 I have the blue lights and can confirm that they look really good. Certainly worth the money in my opinion.
daggartuk Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Any modifications required or are these a direct replacement?
chriss1455 Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 If they are a direct replacement I will certainly have a set off you at stoneleigh
Tim Reid Posted April 23, 2015 Author Posted April 23, 2015 They are a direct replacement. Tony (wackydo) was first in line. I will PM him and give him 24 hours, if not they are yours Chris :-)
SootySport Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I have the blue leds as well and I can't see why blue and red don't go together, VW use blue and red dash lighting to good effect, surely a giant motor manufacturer's styling department can't be wrong.
Tim Reid Posted April 24, 2015 Author Posted April 24, 2015 SOLD to Tony (wackydo) SootySport... I will tell my wife that but I don't expect an answer
SootySport Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 SOLD to Tony (wackydo) SootySport... I will tell my wife that but I don't expect an answer I bet if she had a VW of her own, she wouldn't notice the dash lighting
Tim Reid Posted April 24, 2015 Author Posted April 24, 2015 I bet if she had a VW of her own, she wouldn't notice the dash lighting I heard that VW started doing it because blue is a calming colour... that's why I like red on the Westfield. I have a VW Passat (2013) but no blue lights unless I'm going too fast!
SootySport Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Must have changed then, all of them around 2000 - 2005 had blue, and Audi had red. Things move on I guess.
