Manchester M6 Convoy Sunday the 3rd

Manchester will be doing the following.....

 

 

• Tesco Stockport "Tiviot Way Stockport, Cheshire SK1 2BT" at 7:15am 
• M6 Knutsford Services at 7:45am for meet & fuel fill, leaving at 8.00am prompt.
• Stafford services, arrive around 8.30am, for a quick 5 minute pick up of anyone else, leaving at 8.35 (please ensure fuel tanks are full for anyone joining from here)
• Hilton park services, from around 9.00am (depending on how the other times have gone) this being where we met up with the Cannock crew ?
• Stoneleigh for around 9:30am (but in reality there's always a bit of time lost so it ends up being  nearly 10.00am arrival)

Sorry didn't read the beginning of the thread. Is it still 07.45 at Knutsford services? Anyone in a westy? Only asking as weather forecast is poor, but made the decision to risk it and use the half hood.

Its not an official stop. But Andy and I usually meet there, on the slip road next to the petrol station in the services, where we can see the M6, then chase after the convoy as it passes on the main carriageway.

 

(We tried waiting on a bridge before now, but it doesn't work, even though the convoy was keeping the speed down to sixty, without blues and twos and the ability to chase them at three figure speeds it took us twenty minutes to catch up!)
