B.RAD Posted April 15, 2015 Author Posted April 15, 2015 Cheers guys, all very good advice and much appreciated I'm trialling David's sealey 19.2v torque wrench, so far so good and happily undoes wheel bolts torqued to 90nm. Says it torques to 300nm on the box but my draper torque wrench still has a short twist to take them up to 90nm. Absolutely perfect for what I wanted though, so big thanks to David and I owe you some beer tokens :t- up: Quote
Davep1 Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 A quick heads up on the Sealey 24V 1/2" impact driver - on offer at £117 (less than half price) if you use the code MOT10 at Euro car parts. Dave. Quote
Terry Everall Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Thats a great piece pot kit for £117 Quote
Justin767 Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Love my beefy Sealey CP2400. I picked it up 2nd hand for well under £100.. Quote
Deanspoors Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 I was thinking about purhasing this one.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dewalt-DCF899HN-High-Torque-Impact-Wrench-18V-Brushless-Hog-Ring-/371433288404?hash=item567b2632d4 ...as I have all Dewalt XR tools already, so I'll be easily able to share and swap batteries, but with up to 950Nm of Torque am I likely to easily damage bolts and threads, or is the torque curve progressive enough to judge when something is tight enough? Cheers, Dean Quote
Onliest Smeg David Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Dean... I have the XR DCF880 lower spec more compact model, it's been brill. Quote
