theprisioner
The challenge is not the people, the organiser or the one make car club format but the Scottish weather. If you want to maintain the numbers going on a particular run there is an obvious need for a more flexible arrangement for organising them should the weather take a turn for the worse. In the case of Doune it is a fixed date in the calendar but many of the runs are not.

In the case of Doune it is a fixed date in the calendar but many of the runs are not. The flexibility is with us as individuals as well. Many struggle to juggle 'run time' with 'family time', etc. Some have to build up Brownie points don't they, Matt! .. .. although, you were actually a go for this one! Mind and save the points for next time, lol!
pcxr
Is no one interested in doing any of the car shows like Glamis Castle or Scone as a club. There are several big rallies in Scotland which are a great day out. Free or very little outlay to enter a club stand at the show and gives you a full day of looking around other people's toys and speaking to like minded people who would be very interested in our cars. These days would also obviously include the run to and from the shows and would involve members from all over our region instead of folk in the North being to far from the South or vice versa. Would be good to have, not only a reason to drive our cars but have somewhere to go and something to look at when we are there. Loads of other car clubs manage and have a good time all round
Rab (bombero) Reid
This is a great idea but was not brought up at our inaugural annual meet however, that's not to say that we can't include them now! Send me some details, Craig - rabreid423@gmail.com
pcxr
Rab, I've emailed you but don't know if the attachments will work or be clear. Forms and info for Scone available on www.svtec.org and then the Forms section For Glamis www.SVVC.co.uk and the Extravaganza tab Craig

Matta
Think the only car show-related fixture we had in the original list was the Boness Hillclimb - car show and racing all rolled into one weekend and we'll have a WSCC stand too, so we get in free.
