Rab (bombero) Reid Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Proper automotive vinyl (no cheap eBay knock-offs), should be able to withstand a fair amount of heat given that car surfaces can get pretty toasty on hot summer days (what are they you ask, lol!) Quote
TableLeg Posted April 7, 2015 Author Posted April 7, 2015 Thanks Martin and Robert for the replies Quote
TableLeg Posted April 8, 2015 Author Posted April 8, 2015 I know you said NO But if you use your original off cuts and don't like it you've lost nothing Just make alloy ones One thing I would say is I like the tub cut line to be at a slopping angle the same as the bonnet to scuttle cut but in front of the footwell for that finishing touch Once the tub is cut square there's no going back to an angle in the future Thanks Andy I know for sure I wouldn't get on with the modified panels. I agree though that the best look is the same as Adam Reeves did on his build (and others too) where the rear edge follows the angle of the scuttle. Quote
