Compostable or Not?

Can I put grey squirrels in the brown (composting) wheelie bin, or do they have to go in the black (general waste) wheelie bin?

We have just had our black bin emptied this morning, so it won't be emptied for another 2 weeks, and I'm afraid they might get rather smelly.

Anyone know the answer?

Whichever your probably will need to tie the bin lid down they are feisty little b*******s

Squirrels are biodegradable and make good fertisiler so yes, put it in the composting bin.

When we have spare small mammal carcasses (courtesy of the cat) we put them on the garden wall for these local scavengers. They have been known to grab a squirrel en passant so to speak...

Dom, they'll be dead before they go in the bin. They mostly die of lead.

Oh yes! My Good Lady puts odd scraps of meat trimmings (fat, skin, etc) on the wall and they swoop down like Stukas while she's still putting it on the wall. I hear mutterings on the TV news (C4) that some say there are too many now. Well not as far as we are concerned - they're spectacular and beautiful.
