Paul Morcom Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 I am looking for the control unit plus the plug/connector that was on the wiring loom. The Motorcraft part number is 83BB 12A199 B3A, the part is also manufactured by other companies with different part numbers... Intermotor 15300 Ford EDY4 Lucas DAB 752 Unipart GIM5045 These units were commonly used on Sierra, Granada, Fiesta and Escorts. Thanks Paul
Kingster Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 I have one - let me go check if it is the correct unit...
Kingster Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Not the same numbers I'm afraid - but you are welcome to have it if it is any good.
Paul Morcom Posted March 30, 2015 Author Posted March 30, 2015 Hi kingster996, Thanks for looking but it does need to be exactly the part that I have quoted. Is the 996 part of your forum name relevant to a Ducati? cheers...Paul

Same capacity Any time I tried to use 'Kingster' as a user name, it was inevitably gone, so tagged 996 on the end and it seems to be unique - so it has stuck with me!
Paul Morcom Posted March 30, 2015 Author Posted March 30, 2015 Big V-twins are the best! I have had a string of them... Ducati 916 SPS, Honda SP1 and currently have a Ducati 996 SPS. The Firestorm is a great bike, fast but not too intimidating and smooth delivery of plenty of power and torque - sound good with the right cans.
Kingster Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 My Storm had a stage 1 Moriwaki engine, Ti system, Ohlins forks, brembos, Penske rear, OZ wheels, Spondon modded frame and endurance sw arm - bit of a wolf in sheep's clothing - I so miss that bike! I always fancied a nice Ducati - or a KTM SuperDuke R!
