Hi all.

Not got a westie yet but finally have the garage space (just) and about £6 to £7k to spend on a pre loved car :)

I'm useless with the spanners so looking for a runner rather than a fixer to start with.

Do the Shropshire/North Wales meets still happen? Can't see any in the meets section.

Ta.

Welcome!

Yep Shropshire - Nic Chase is the AO and Wirral/North Wales - Mark Redpath is the AO, details here

Do feel free to visit whatever, and as many Areas as you fancy, we're not precious about these things!

You should be able to get something decent for that budget, though prices typically start firming up a little at this time of year, there will usually be some well sorted machine around for that money, though they may not have all the bells and whistles.

Hi quinten. Registered a while ago but it's taken ages to get approved. I've got relatives visiting this weekend but may try a view some cars for sale next weekend :)

The wealth of variations etc is bewildering. I think I want a wide body tho red & black is looking attractive too.

Hi,& welcome to the club. The Shropshire/Mid Wales group meeting is this thursday,at the Bradford Arms,Knockin, although I doubt that the AO will be there,he has a broken ankle.Whereabouts in Shropshire are you situated?I am in Telford, along with another soon to be owner,he is in the process of building his dream machine. If you are free on saturday the 11th April, the Westfield factory has an open day, situated in Kingswinford, well worth a visit, even if just for the free buffet!

Hi

I'm in Oswestry, not a Westfield owner though, but nearly finished converting my Mac1 over to a R1 bike engine.

My m8 has nearly finished his ZX12R MK Indy too, he's in Gobowen.

Another club which has a variety of kit cars/odd ball cars is SHACC, who also use tge Bradford Arms at Knockin for monthly meets.

Been today to look at and drive the one above on autotrader. Seems good to me so I may become an owner soon. Low milage for the age and a 'standard' build in that it doesent apear to have been personalised too much, giving me a blank canvas to start from.

Had a decent insurance quote via APlan so pretty much ready to go. Juts got that slightly nervous feeling I have before I spend a load of money!
