Kezman Posted April 1, 2015 Share Posted April 1, 2015 The Brake relining outfit I've been speaking to seem to think they have found a match regarding a Mintex 1144 pad for the Disco 1 rear Calliper I've updated them with, but they are waiting on Mintex to get back to them. So I will see how that one pans out, I'll update to the forum when there is something to add. Meantime Can I ask those that have run a more performance orientated pad at the front of their Westfields, have you then changed to same pads at the back? So in other words should I be ideally putting a set of 1144's at the back. Again, I'll have a wheel off the back this weekend and have a good luck, but looking at the picking list History paperwork I have (it's a 2009 build) I have Golf Rear Callipers (M0002 and 2342135/36....westfield codes) Searching on here it strongly hints that they are likely to be Mk4's. Does any one know.... does the Calliper comply to all models of Golf, be it the, I don't know 1.4,1.6, 2.0 and so on? Is it all the same pad regardless?
