llcoolj
Hello everyone! I'm thinking of getting a westfield kit car, so I thought I join up and get some knowledge. Hopefully I be a proud owner soon. Thanks
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Welcome! Its a good time of year to start looking into it, as more and more will be re-taxing for the summer now, and making it out on the road and to club meets. Try and get to see as many cars as you can - the meet's will help here, the more you see, the better the idea you'll get if what you're after, and the more used to eyeing them up you'll get. Depending on your timescale, the big national Kit Car show at Stoneleigh is in May, even more to see there, and always cars for sale! Details of of where to find your nearest meets are here. John K
I don't suppose there is anyway we could convince you otherwise and to get something more sensible and predictable for a hobby. Like a psychotic rhino with a drug problem..? Assuming you continue on this path to madness, climb in, buckle up and welcome aboard..!

SootySport
from Essex. We all know how to spend your money. Have a good look at this forum classifieds, Car and Classic & Pistonheads websites. Such bewildering differences in spec. are offered on Westfields so try and narrow down your needs first, Bike engine or car engine should be your first decision. Few details: Ford 1.6 cross flow engine. Q plate Team dynamics motorsport wheels Adjustable suspension Full weather gear ( leather hood and2 sets of doors) momo steering wheel Bucket seats TRS Race harness It is in very good condition. Being new to the Westfied world I have no idea what all this means..... I normally ride bikes and drive normal cars lol What would this be worth and what performance figures would one expect? Thanks guys Edited March 8, 2015 by llcoolj
thinkturbo
Between 5500-6500 as a guess, bhp from 120 dependant on what's inside, I have the mighty Xflow too, just done up a tired one, it's great fun and quick too, welcome too, mark Check what type it is, narrow or wide? Also what rear axle:- Live is a fixed escort axle. Sei Early type is a Westfield alloy diff with independent rear axle Or later Sei is a Sierra diff ? llcoolj
Hi think turbo, I will definitely ask these questions. Narrow or wide track Rear axle escort or Sierra Is there any preference in which it should have? thinkturbo
Not really, depends on your physical size, as the narrow is a tighter fit... I've had an early Sei one now, but have also had later Sierra one, my preference is the narrow with an early Sei back end, just feels tighter
