B.RAD Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Hi all Does anyone have some wheel spacers that they would be willing to loan or let me have please? My new sprint wheels foul on the trailing arms so I need to space them out, before I commit to some spacers I'd liked to test them so I know which size I need. Variants of 2, 3, 5 or 7mm would be very much appreciated! Many thanks Barny
Captain Colonial Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Not to be Captain Obvious here or anything, but have you thought about using some washers on the studs for trial fitment purposes (certainly NOT for road testing)?
B.RAD Posted March 3, 2015 Author Posted March 3, 2015 Thanks Capt, good idea, still in need of the spacers though
Terry Everall Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 If , as has been suggested, you use washers or a timber ply packers you will know what thickness of spacer you need
B.RAD Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 Now sorted, a set of 3mm and 8mm are on their way from a friendly soul, thank you very much!
Marto303 Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 They are hanging on the wall where my Westy has been all winter if you need them before I get back.
B.RAD Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 Cheers, now get off t'internet and get another mojito! Once you've sanctioned our new TLA logo of course
