What sad news, the end of an era.

Blimey that was unexpected. Has something happened to Alan W or just retiring?

Looking at uphill racers seems he is just retiring

Surprised he couldn't or didn't want to sell the business

Mind you there do seem to be a huge number of after market e us out there now

Weren't there any other employees? Seems a selfish move given the thousands of loyal customers, but maybe there's more going on than publicly announced (hopefully)

There always only seemed to be Alan and another chap, (embarrassed to say I've forgotten his name), on the few times I've called in.

Tony Ralph, I believe was the employee

Tony, yes, that rings a bell!

I would have thought the business was worth selling...

I don't get it. Surely he hadn't planned on working forever??

That's a bummer especially when I've got a DTA ECU and they were local. Hope mine doesn't fail.

Likewise

I hope someone offers support

I do wonder if Mr W's somewhat abrasive personality made an elegant succession impossible

You might have a point there!

Allan, has just decided to retire, ultimately the business may be sold. But support is still available on the website and of course should be from the Dealer you bought the ECU from.

DTA has passed into new hands and will continue to trade.

That's good then.
