I've got some vouchers from christmas..thinking an extra tool box unless anyone knows any better bargains? http://www.halfords.com/motoring/garage-equipment/tool-chests-tool-boxes/halfords-8-drawer-tool-centre
tolf
I saw some ratchet spanners in their sale recently. Set containing 8 mm to 16 mm and all in between for £
TAFKARM
Very handy, but I've got two sets already...
Onliest Smeg David
Have you inspected that tool cabinet in the Flesh? A bit cheap n flimsy I thought.
TAFKARM
I've already got one similar that does the job tbh, but can always use more storage
CraigHew
I'd wait until they have one of their special event sales then get more bang for your buck. I've bought their professional toolboxes, socket sets and ratchet spanners during such promotions. Usually the stuff has been less than half price. I thought the professional toolboxes range were good quality and a bargain during one of their events. Lifetime guarantee on the professional socket sets too. I agree it's not snap-on (or similar) quality but fine for home use. I'm guessing being a billionaire (and a stud ) you're already well tooled up so you may wish to browse some of their more exotic offerings...or buy the wife some air-fresheners... Boombang
Take a trade card with you, as long as they allow that with vouchers, and prices of their own tools drop even below 99% of special offers. Professional cabs and chests are ok but nothing like as good as the black Industrial range, I would seriously recommend them.
TAFKARM
I don't have a trade card
Boombang
I'd offer to post mine over to you but it's somewhere in the storage container - well worth using to get Halfords own brand stuff, even oil.
D7PNY
That's exactly what I bought with some vouchers I got a couple of years back and its served me well.Drawer runners not the best but as a value option I cant fault it. Dave
Young Pretender
They do a range of thermal wear for cycling which might be useful for cold weather blats?

Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
And cycling gloves too... Actually bought a pair of them a few years back while out for a blat, after loosing my decent ones, thought they'd get me home at least. They weren't at all bad, kept using them for years! Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Yeah, the Seal Skinz stuff always seems to come highly recommended. I've got a pair of their's I bought from DT, when I was after a pair of winter weight, fully water proof goves for the Westfield. Cracking gloves!
