DE04*
Got to insure it this month so i phoned Frank Pickles and they asked how much is it worth so i said £15k. They only insure up to £14k,so im wondering if i am over pricing it. Bought a complete kit in 2009 first registered in 2010 it is a standard 2.0L zetec with Wide track Quick rack Gaz monotube shocke Hi spec calipers front and rear Raceline sump Tillet seats Carbon fibre panelled inside few other little bits And in good condition I had a look at westfields for sale and i think it might be over priced..So please tell me what you think it is worth. Thanks Dean

Lawrie
Its anybody's guess, and depends on the build quality, it's state and the extras/updates. Its a case of what somebody will pay for it, so look at the for sale adds
Terry Everall
It seems hard to get more than £10k to £12k for a road going Westfiels
jeff oakley
Have a look at other companies especially those who offer agreed value. Agreed value is what it is worth to you and what the insurance will pay you if it is a total loss. Mine was insured for £12k agreed but sold for £9k. If it is not an agreed value it is what ever the insurance company decide it is worth after a total loss. That is when the arguments start. I cannot see how Frank Pickles can want the business if they set such an unrealistic level. A new factory built car is £16k or so upwards so it seems someone doesn't really want the business. I would certainly try A plan as they have specialists who understand our cars.
