Young Pretender Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 The hunt continues! Have an opportunity to get one of these. Has anyone ever towed or owned one? They are basically just like BJ Sprint Shuttles but from what I understand to be a relatively small operation (one man band). You won't find much info on the internet - unless you're better at google than me! Cheers Mark Quote
s2rrr Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Looks the dogs danglies to me, just the size to confirm it will fit and you can get out. Could even install a small heater for winter to keep any damp out, not that it would be a major issue here. Bob Quote
Mark (smokey mow) Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 No knowledge or experience of them. What I learnt quite quickly though when shopping for my own trailer was that most of the manufacturers share common suspension, hitch and lighting components typically from Al-ko etc. so spares should never be too much of an issue for common service items. Beyond that the only thing manufactured and unique to the different companies is the fabricated galvatite steel bed and the fibreglass cover, the sale price then price depends to exent on quality and also the number of additional "features" that are included. Young Pretender Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 Well I've now got one on order so quite excited!! Thanks for your post Mark, it prompted me to check a few things with the builder and as suggested many of the common parts are shared. Cheers Mark Quote
Welly Jen Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 You could get a spare rear light cluster from Westfield by the look of it. Quote
