Rammy - Whalley - Clitheroe - Sawley - Bolton by Bowland - Gisburn - Blacko and back. Had a few thumbs up today from bikers who were also braving the cold. I did okay but on the drive home I had to put a hat on! Its only cold on the hands - yet to find gloves that give good grip. Had a few thumbs up today from bikers who were also braving the cold. I did okay but on the drive home I had to put a hat on! Its only cold on the hands - yet to find gloves that give good grip. I find Mountain Biking gloves seem to work well; good grip, good feel, plus you can get versions for all seasons, right up to insulated wet weather versions. I'll add to that and say, buy gloves that have the gauntlet type design, the shaped extension covers the cuffs on your coat so the wind doesn't blow cold air up your sleeves and round your back.
