Terry Everall Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 I like the PRG trailers best especially my covered one that is twin axle( essential in my opinion) and provides tyre & fuel storage as well as my bedroom for the night Quote
clansman Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 Another minno owner , tows like a dream and has the added advantage of the tow hitch folds up to save even more space if needed. Only wish I had a covered version as every time I seem to put the westie on it the rain starts!! Quote
Nemesis Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I've got a PRG Mini Super Sport XW that I bought from new, the only reason I chose PRG being that all the other manufacturers were quoting seasons for delivery, I've been really pleased with it, it tow's really well and is light enough to push about unloaded, It just fits into a standard garage so it stays out of sight of sticky fingers. The only bug for me is that it's an open trailer, so what ever is on the road gets plastered on the car! Then back onto the subject of sticky fingers.....Whatever you buy make sure you get the Certificate of Conformity, it's one extra way of making sure you don't get stitched up with a nicked trailer & it's wise to carry that with you if you take the trailer abroad, and even VOSA in the UK might ask to see it. I might post some pics of it with the new tyre rack on if I can find the time to go and collect it!! Good luck with your search Nem................... Quote
Nemesis Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 BJ Minno shuttle Not perfect but the best solution for me, the main problem being bed width I have to swap all 4 CXR's for some std steel Fiesta 13"x 5" rims, I have made the front cycle wings removable so they come off and I have scraped the rear wings opening & closing the rear clam shell all this makes for a little more work loading and offloading / setting up at speed series events but it works. It tows like a dream behind my T5 camper and the big bonus for me is storage, when not in use it's stored under a mezzanine floor in the workshop and takes up little more space than the Westy or as is now up on a 2.5T two post lift. Here's my two together And a pic of the handsome dude from Bromsgrove and his fat dad thrown in too.... can't be at all bad! Quote
