Six years go I used to fill a bottle the same as many do with 1p,2p and 5p.

It used to be full and amounted to £50 and it went towards the Christmas booze.

This year..

Had nearly £50 in the summer for the boys spends.

Not a lot in it at the moment.

I had a bottle like that years ago. It was about half full and I kept adding to it but it never went any higher than half full. It was only years later that my kids admitted that they used to 'borrow' from it to top up their allowances! :(

At this rate I'll have to find a new use for the bottle.

Filling it with all the bolts i didn't use of the Wessie.

When the £2 coin first came out, somebody suggested collecting them for the boys night out fund.  Anyway, my wallet was stolen and I found I had about £150, which tidied me over till the new cards arrived.  It would have been a good night out

Unfortunatly I had to use real money to buy the Christmas beer.

By that I mean a debit card. :(

My change collecting days are numberd. I hate cash and the only place I spend it is in the shop at work as there's a £5 min debit card spend. Now they have contactless terminals there's no minimum im just waiting on my contactless card.
