I think you are all missing the bigger picture, surely it will be registered in Lapland. As long as the deliveries don't take over 6 months he will be fine.

 

Although it does feel like Christmas starts earlier and earlier so he may fall foul of this soon. :d

Ah, but is it more difficult to pass the Lapland version of the IVA than it is here?  We know how hard it is to get type approval for or register a Westfield in many European countries.  I'll bet a sleigh would be even harder.  Just for a start, where are the number plates and safety belts?

Santa has royal status in Lapland , Just like HRH here , therefore  no number plate required ,  silly !

 

The last time I rode on Santas sled it was fitted with safety belts , admittedly it was on a merry go round !
