For those lovers of a different era of motorsport, there's a documentary on legendary Jim Clark on Sunday. 10pm BBC4.

 

Listed as "a Portrait of..." Style program, with lots of footage.

 

It follows "Hunt v Lauda: F1's Greatest Racing Rivals" at 9 pm on the same channel.

I enjoyed that.

 

I went on a factory tour at Lotus last year after I bought the Evora.

 

The chap giving the tour was in his 60's and knew Colin and Jim.

 

He spent most of the tour convincing the various nationalities attending that Jim Clarke was the greatest driver that has ever lived ;-)

 

Good to see John Surtees giving his insight.  Another amazing, very down to earth chap.
