Quinten Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Just need a quick confirmation that I've got these two right? Images shamelessly stolen from Westfield World so apologies if they are yours Are there any other sensors that I've not found yet? Quote
Pistol Pete Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 First one is the temp gauge sender, second looks like the rad fan temp switch. There should be an.oil pressure sender at the front right of the engine, right down at the bottom. Quote
Quinten Posted November 19, 2014 Author Posted November 19, 2014 Hmm, so the 1st one connects to the water temperature gauge, and the 2nd controls the engine fan? Good thing I asked! I'll have to look for the oil pressure sender... 1 Quote
B.RAD Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Oil pressure sender is on drivers side, front, about halfway up the block. Quote
alexander72 Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Quinten, just hold the steering wheel and feel the soul of the engine... do away with this modern trickery my friend 1 Quote

Quinten Posted November 19, 2014 Author Posted November 19, 2014 Oil pressure sender is on drivers side, front, about halfway up the block. I would, once I get the wiring back together again! Quote
B.RAD Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Depending on your set up, you may have another one in-line as well, but that is the main sender. Quote
Pistol Pete Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Sorry, meant right when you sitting in the car - as per bcf - drivers side. Quote
Quinten Posted November 19, 2014 Author Posted November 19, 2014 Cheers Barny and Pete! No guesswork involved then this time. Think I've got my wiring loom 95% figured out, so getting there... am enjoying this more than the exhaust manifold shenanigans 1 Quote
